Another Record Falls on a Beynon Track

Kimberly Duncan of Louisiana State University ran a blistering 22.75 second time in the 200 meter race at the Samford Invitational on Beynon’s BSS 1000 track and field surface. Kimberly’s impressive time of 22.75 is the fastest time run in the U.S. this year, and is one of many record setting times being run on a Beynon track across the country and around the world.

The BSS 1000 is a state-of-the-art track and field surface that allows athletes to push their performance to the limit. It has a bio-engineered force reduction layer that integrates very fine SBR rubber with environmentally-friendly polyurethane to create an impermeable shock absorbing cushion.

“It is great to see the record-breaking times being run at Samford” said Mike Smoak, Director of Southeast Sales for Beynon Sports. “Beynon tracks continue to set the benchmark for surfaces that allow you to train easy and run fast.”

Samford University is part of a long list of NCAA track and field programs that have decided that only Beynon Sports can provide the quality, workmanship and compatibility necessary to meet the divergent needs of both speed and distance track and field athletes.
