Beynon Extends its International Presence with Four Tracks in India

Beynon Sports Surfaces’ recently completed installation of their BSS 300 athletic surface in the city stadiums of Chitradurga, Belgaum, Gadag, and Kodagu.

The BSS 300 sandwich synthetic track system is a paved-in-place synthetic surface of impermeable design that will provide a resilient all-weather surface that exceeds IAAF performance standards for athletic tracks.

With four new all weather eight-lane tracks the athletes of India will now be able to train harder without the risk of injury, in addition, by upgrading their previous surfaces to all-weather athletic surfaces the tracks will be able to be used more frequently than in the past giving everyone more opportunities to use the new surfaces.

While the ground work was entrusted to Chadha Sports of New Delhi, and the track laying job was assigned to Beynon Sports, Beynon also partnered with Field and Track International (FTI) Pvt Ltd., to ensure that the surfaces were being layed down according to Beynon’s stringent quality control standards. The FTI Pvt Ltd has experience with track-laying works in over 30 other countries including India, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Iraq, amongst many others. They had as many as five technical experts from Lithuania and Estonia on-site to ensure the workmanship met the quality Beynon is famous for.

“Beynon Sports Surfaces was pleased to partner with Field and Track International on these four jobs and we look forward to continuing to bring the quality athletic surfaces that Beynon is known for to India and the rest of the world” Drew Beynon, Chief Operating Officer Beynon Sports Surfaces
