Beynon Systems Obtain Leading Sustainability & Environmental Certification

Dedication to quality manufacturing and system design has long been at the core of our values at Beynon Sports. Our growing commitment to not only the performance but the sustainability of our products is showcased today with the announcement that (14) of our systems have obtained GreenGuard Gold certification.

Gold is the highest certification level available through GreenGuard, a leading program committed to global sustainability, environmental health, and safety. All certified products must meet stringent emissions standards based on established chemical exposure criteria. The GreenGuard Gold Certification requirements comply with the State of California’s Department of Public Health Services Standard Practice for Specification Section 01350 (California Section 01350) for testing chemical emissions from building products used in schools and other environments. The certification is specifically focused on the exposure to individual volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The standard is designed to define low-emitting materials suitable for environments where people, particularly children and sensitive adults, spend extended periods of time, in particular schools and healthcare facilities. Every Beynon track is manufactured at our advanced manufacturing facility, headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
