Certified as a World Athletics Class 1 facility, the venue joins an elite list of world-class facilities. Officials trusted Beynon Sports’ BSS 1000 system for the stadium and the 6-lane warm up track, which is located outside of the main venue. The BSS 1000 system is the company’s most popular system and have proven to deliver optimal shock absorbency and superior energy return for athletes. The system is certified by World Athletics and was the host surface of numerous championships and renowned events, of which includes the 2016 Canadian Championships & Rio Selection Trials.
