Catholic High School Raves about new Beynon Sports Track Surface
Regarded as one of the powerhouse High School track and field programs in the country, Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has claimed an astonishing 25 State Championships since 1980, including 6 in the last 7 years! Now, CHS has partnered with Beynon Sports to manufacture and install their new track and field surface.
Catholic High School selected Beynon Sports’ pioneering BSS 1000 system with Beynon’s trademarked Hobart Texture for their new athletic surface. Want to learn more on CHS’ choice? Click Here. The new facility showcases an (8) eight-lane track along with designated long jump, triple jump and high jump areas.
“I am so thrilled with our new Beynon Sports track surface; it is absolutely out of sight!” said Pete Boudreaux, legendary Track and Field Coach at Baton Rouge Catholic High School. “The entire team at Beynon Sports has delivered above and beyond our expectations.”
Known for being as good (if not better) on race day as it is for training, the BSS 1000 is the same surface installed at high profile track and field venues such as The University of Texas, Texas A&M, Abilene Christian University, the University of Texas at San Antonio and over 300 other esteemed NCAA and elite high school facilities across North America and around the world.
“To partner with such a renowned intuition is a true privilege,” said Drew Beynon, COO at Beynon Sports. “Not only will CHS have one of the fastest programs in the state, but they will now have one of the most impressive venues. Beynon Sports is honored to have been selected by Coach Boudreaux and we are proud to have built a track that will allow the student-athletes to not only train daily, but propel them to personal records on race day.”
