Beynon Sports Surfaces’ recently completed installing their BSS 2000 13mm embedded track surface at Mississippi State University in time for the SEC/Big 10 Challenge; where MSU hosted their first meet in nearly four years.
Mississippi State University selected Beynon Sports Surfaces to install their new track surface at the Carl Maddox Track located at W.O. Spencer Stadium. The state-of-the-art facility features:
Nine lanes,
A steeplechase water jump,
A High Jump area,
Pole vault and long/triple jump areas,
A javelin runway,
Shot put, hammer and discus throw rings areas.
The Olympic-caliber BSS 2000 13mm embedded track allows Mississippi State to provide a superior surface for training and competing. In addition the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs will now be able to host meets for the first time in many years.

The BSS 2000 is IAAF certified and features a bioengineered force reduction layer of butyl rubber and full depth, environmentally friendly, color polyurethane to create an impermeable shock-absorbing cushion; providing athletes with the maximum control and energy return. It makes training more manageable and allows athletes to compete at the highest levels with the best in the world.
