New Post-Tensioned Concrete Track and Beynon Surface to be Constructed at Spearville HS in 2016

The construction of a new track surface at Spearville High School has officially been approved. Beynon Sports and Renner Sports have partnered to build Spearville’s new athletic facility which will feature a new eight-lane Beynon track with Renner’s post-tensioned concrete subbase. Work is scheduled to commence May 2016.

The project will convert Spearville’s current six-lane track into an eight-lane showcasing Beynon’s IAAF-certified BSS 1000 track and field system built on Renner Sports’ proprietary post-tensioned concrete (PTC) track subbase. The PTC subbase will provide increased longevity and reduced lifecycle costs for the taxpayers of Spearville, Kansas over the traditional asphalt construction.
