North America’s elite athletes have the pleasure of getting to perform on a state-of-the-art Beynon surface in their quests to represent their respective countries during the London games. Hayward Field and their innovative and industry leading BSS 2000 will once again play host to the US Olympic Trials when the elite track and field athletes from the US come to Eugene, Oregon June 21st – July 1st to try and earn a spot on their national team. This will mark Hayward Fields fifth major Championship since 2008; in addition they will be hosting the 2014 World Junior Track and Field Championships.
Foothills Athletic Park in Calgary, Alberta Canada will host the Canadian Olympic Trials in Track and Field for the first time when Canada’s best come to Calgary for their shot at Olympic Glory June 27th – June 30th. Foothills Athletic Park installed their BSS 1000 last year for the 2011 Canadian Nationals and in the short span of one-year they will have hosted the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Nationals in addition to the 2012 Olympic Trials.
North America will be running on Beynon all the way to the Olympic games in London, running on an Olympic caliber track surface that is also extremely training friendly will allow them to compete at the highest possible level while keeping their legs fresh for the biggest moment of their lives.
